Can I start with any amount?
Yes. Pick anything from $1 to $1,000,000. JC's flagship run is $100 → $1,000,000, but your goal scales with your start: always 10,000× (13.29 doublings). Small deposits and many tries are encouraged.
Do I need to open an account with your broker?
Yes, it's required. Open your MT5 account through our link (Start Trading Now) and click Sophisticated Trader when you register. Then tick "I opened my account" and enter your MT5 account ID (your login number, digits only, never your password) when you sign up. It is required, one per player, stored privately for verification, and never shown on the board.
How is the leaderboard ranked?
By furthest step (how many times you doubled), then by the multiple of your own start, then fewest tries. So a $50 start and a $5,000 start compete fairly. Scores are self-reported now and MT5 verification is coming.
Public or private?
Your choice at signup. Public shows only your nickname and stats on the board. Private keeps everything to yourself. Emails and MT5 account IDs are never shown.
What if I blow the account?
Log it as a new try and go again. Every attempt counts toward your total, and the board keeps your best run. Trading is high risk, so only play with money you're fine losing.
Does it cost anything?
The challenge dashboard and leaderboard are free. You fund your own trading account at the broker with whatever start amount you choose.
